Computer Forensics Founder

George Rodriguez is the founder of Computer Forensics Worldwide, Inc. and is currently offering his services as a court certified expert witness, in federal and state courts, as a Computer/Internet Investigative Specialist and Digital Evidence Examiner for use in corporate, civil and criminal investigations. 

George retired as one of the youngest Chief Petty Officer’s for the US Navy in 1992. Since then he’s gained over 15 years of experience in law enforcement. He served from 1993 through present as a Federal Agent, and Senior Special Agent for the Department of Homeland Security, ICE (formerly the US Customs Service). From 2004 until present, George is currently a fulltime Digital Forensic Agent (DFA) with ICE and to date has conducted hundreds of computer forensic examinations on devices including: servers, computers, laptops, cell phones, PDAs, and various types of digital media.  George has conducted examinations for cases involving terrorism, espionage, computer crimes, narcotics, money laundering, document fraud, identity fraud, strategic/controlled arms and technology export violations, child pornography, import/export violations, intellectual property rights violations, internet hacking, murder, extortion, and various immigration violations.

George has testified in Federal and State Court on several occasions, including the case of U.S. vs Kent Frank, an ICE investigation of a child sex tourist who traveled abroad to have sex with children.  His testimony and results of forensic examination on digital media were instrumental in a guilty conviction and a sentence of 40 years for the offender.

George graduated from New York’s Regents College (Currently Excelsior College) in 1996 with a Bachelors of Science Degree.  He is a current member of the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) and holds the following certifications:  Guidance Software: Encase Certified Examiner (EnCE), IACIS:  Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), IACIS: Certified Electronic Evidence Collection Specialist (CEECS), and Comp-Tia A+.
